We are on the hunt for a Business Analyst: Salesforce to become an integral part of our IT department’s Salesforce team. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining our Salesforce platform, engaging with internal customers to comprehend their needs, and delivering functional and technical expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Facilitate requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications, leveraging the Salesforce platform to support both small and large projects.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices, and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions to cross-functional problems.
  • Serve as a senior member of a matrixed project team, ensuring timely delivery of user improvements and enhancements by effectively employing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Scope and prioritize enhancement requests with multiple stakeholders, including the Project Management Organization, internal business customers, and senior management; manage and maintain the product roadmap as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
  • Develop and maintain productive business customer relationships, acting as the “voice of the customer” to the IT project team and supporting development and delivery in a collaborative manner.
  • Ensure business and operational readiness for the deployment of system enhancements, new products, and process changes; support end-user training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, and support of IT systems.
  • Three years of experience delivering robust, scalable Salesforce solutions to market strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and other IT project management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to provide technical direction and foster innovation amidst uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Understanding of IT and business concepts with the ability to evaluate the impact of business changes on systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Capability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment to be a Salesforce Business Analyst.
