Join a dynamic and talented User Experience & Design team, dedicated to crafting top-tier digital experiences for a leading hospitality organization.

In this position, the ideal candidate will assume responsibility for the formatting and production of diverse digital projects aimed at enhancing our client’s desktop and mobile websites. Collaboration will be a key component of this role, as you’ll work closely with UX Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Product Owners, and Developers. The ideal candidate embodies a strong work ethic and a willingness to dive into the nitty-gritty details. They should possess a friendly and service-oriented demeanor, coupled with exceptional communication and language skills. A drive for excellence and a steadfast commitment to product quality are essential, as is the ability to excel within a collaborative team environment.

While creative concepts are conceived by directors and executed by UX designers, it’s the production designer who breathes life into these concepts. Therefore, proficiency in typographic and layout skills, along with impeccable organizational abilities, project management expertise, file organization proficiency, and adept archiving skills, are imperative. A comprehensive understanding of digital design systems, as well as mobile UX design with an unwavering attention to detail, is paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare final handoff files and assets based on specifications for desktop and mobile web
• Create and maintain design documentation
• Expand upon a feature design by creating additional screens, edge cases, and error scenarios 
• Support development team by troubleshooting UX or design problems as they arise
• Ensure a quality experience on live digital products by participating in the user acceptance testing process
• Catalog updates and additions to the evolving design system
• Produces simple prototypes, user flows, and/or presentations as needed to communicate experience design.

 Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant UX/production design experience 
• Experience in Sketch, InVision and Figma
• Proven experience maintaining, updating, and creating design documentation 
• Collaborative, highly organized, and strong attention to detail
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in developing and improving design systems, with expertise in interaction, visual, and inclusive design
  • Prior involvement with significant, large-scale global digital platforms, particularly in the commerce or travel sectors
  • Demonstrated outstanding visual design abilities with a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Capability to transform intricate design issues into easily understandable, user-centric experiences
  • A penchant for generating inventive solutions to complex user and business dilemmas
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal proficiencies, encompassing facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and critiquing abilities.
