What we need:

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and collaborative program manager that will set up processes and lead the management of resources and schedules, documentation, quality assurance, and coordination for a range of analytic tasks. This person will help us complete work that is high-quality and on time. This person will work with a team of evaluators, behavioral insights experts, and analysts/programmers that together apply analytic methods to generate and share actionable insights for the enterprise.Our ideal candidate has done or continues to do statistical programming and has experience managing projects in a healthcare analytic environment, thrives working in collaborative team environments, is comfortable interacting with colleagues, has strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a drive to understand how things work and how to make them better, and isn’t afraid to ask questions. This person will be able to ask questions of the business unit to ensure analyses answer the questions effectively, and be able to communicate results using data visualization and clear storylining.This seasoned professional is a self-starter who enjoys setting up processes and systems to manage workflow and resources and likes to continuously improve those processes. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing the big picture while being attentive to details and is comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization, collaborating with experts in health care quality, provider performance, contracting, marketing, sales, behavioral insights, statistics and data science, and information technology.

Your Day to Day:

Establish processes and then use and maintain them. This includes:

  • Database of all active projects, goals, timelines, and key resources
  • Tracking project lifecycle process
  • Design QC and documentation best practices
  • Ensure good documentation
  • Ensure quality assurance occurs, to reduce the risk of errors, rework, and wrong conclusions
  • Create a library of learnings so we can better harvest our results
  • Create a library of code that has been QA’ed, so we can complete work efficiently
  • Clarifying analytic questions and goals with key business partners to maximize the usefulness of analyses performed
  • Convene teams and ensure they are making good progress, identify and address roadblocks
  • Run post mortems
  • Manage deadlines
  • Keep team priorities managed and focused
  • Anticipate and mitigate risk
  • Support the SVP, VP, and Directors as needed

We’re Looking for:

  • Strong academic background with a minimum of a BA or BS degree in a relevant field (Business, Economics, Management, Public Policy, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical programming or quantitative analysis
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and numerical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in data visualization and clear presentation of analytic results
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work within a changing environment
  • High degree of initiative; ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of health care industry and external environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of health care business or research administrative/management skills with a BA/BS degree required, advanced degree strongly preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above
