JOB SUMMARY: Salesforce Platform Manager

We are seeking a Salesforce Platform Manager to serve as the cornerstone of our Salesforce platform management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the holistic management, enhancement, and operational efficiency of our Salesforce.com environment. As the face of the Salesforce platform to the business, this role demands a blend of technical prowess and strategic vision to ensure the platform aligns with and supports our business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • As a Salesforce Platform Manager you will lead project teams in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing configurations on Salesforce.com.
  • Manage and prioritize the Salesforce roadmap and all initiatives related to the platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Act as Project Manager for enhancement and maintenance projects related to Sales Cloud, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive backlog of enhancements and fixes, prioritizing according to business impact.
  • Provide day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce database.
  • Maintain and optimize platform functionalities including Workflows, Process Builders, Flows, custom settings, and user interfaces.
  • Drive user adoption of Salesforce.com by maintaining adoption and data-quality dashboards, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Respond promptly to immediate issues, troubleshoot problems, and identify solutions or user training requirements.
  • Stay abreast of new tools, capabilities, and updates within the Salesforce platform to continuously leverage technology for business excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS: for a Salesforce Platform Manager

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Communities, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, and other CRM technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in Revenue Operations (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Sales Ops) or as an IT business partner to these functions.
  • Experience leading discovery workshops, including solution presentations and prototype demonstrations.
  • Certification as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer is preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to work well with people, including project stakeholders and team members.
  • Proactive in broadening and deepening business and consulting skills.
  • Independent worker capable of managing multiple complex issues while driving the momentum of key projects.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating platform value and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
