JOB SUMMARY: TOS INTEGRATION ENGINEER

We are seeking a TOS Integration Engineer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a TOS Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our operations system and its integrations with Auto Gate, ERP, and automation technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of integration technologies, business analysis, and software development processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: for TOS INTEGRATION ENGINEER

  • Design, implement, and manage the operations system and its integrations with Auto Gate, ERP, and automation technologies.
  • Research and analyze integration technologies, architecture, and design to facilitate efficiency enhancements.
  • Develop business requirement documents and specifications for integration projects.
  • Support the review of integration designs and process requirements to develop software functional specifications.
  • Plan, test, and commission software integration for the application landscape.
  • Ensure proper application lifecycle and version management, acting as hyper care support post-software integration release.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting calls for incidents and analyze data to develop IT applications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with operational and functional teams to identify and implement improvements to business operations and services.
  • Ensure proper integration of vendor engineering solutions and adherence to SLAs.
  • Collaborate with regional platform business analysts to modernize, streamline, and standardize the tech portfolio.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for major incidents impacting operations and ensure deployment of identified countermeasures.
  • Define tech portfolio modernization, infrastructure simplification, and applications rationalization with the IT manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: for TOS INTEGRATION ENGINEER

  • University degree or higher vocational certification in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of related project handling/coordination experience and process documentation. Operational Technology hardware and integration experience preferred.
  • Understanding of automation concepts and interfaces for data exchange and messaging between systems.
  • Experience with Gate, ERP, OCR technology, and IT automation.
  • Proficiency in application programming interfaces (APIs), integrated development environments (IDEs), and code frameworks such as C#, Java, PL-SQL/T-SQL, Active MQ, and Relational DBs/SQL.
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement/LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle and IT Service Management concepts.
