JOB SUMMARY: Innovative Product Manager

We are seeking an Innovative Product Manager to lead the development, strategy, and execution of our innovative products. This role involves defining the product vision, collaborating with stakeholders to understand market needs, and aligning product goals with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, backlog, and working closely with development teams to ensure product requirements are clearly communicated and understood. This position offers the opportunity to drive product innovation from concept through launch, leveraging technical know-how, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals as a Innovative Product Manager.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value.
  • Manage the product backlog, refining items and ensuring alignment with the product vision.
  • Collaborate with development teams, providing clarification on product requirements and participating in backlog refinement.
  • Work with Release Train Engineers (RTE) to ensure a shared understanding of product vision and requirements.
  • Assess and prioritize new features, tracking key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Communicate product progress, plans, and goals to stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintain product documentation in Confluence and manage Epics and Capabilities in JIRA.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with RTE and teams.
  • Ensure product quality by validating that the product is free of defects post-development.
  • Lead product development, strategy, and market launch activities.
  • Conduct market research, generate product requirements, and develop marketing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS: Innovative Product Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree in engineering or MBA preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, including project management.
  • Proven track record in product innovation and development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, metrics management, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile work management methodologies; SAFe POPM certification required.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and CAD platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams.
