Job Brief

We are looking for a UI and visual designer to join our team and help define and drive the future of our member and care team digital experiences. You will create user flows, storyboards, wireframes, interaction details and animations to effectively communicate design and interaction ideas. You’re driven to conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs and emerging technologies.


Your Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with UX team members, product owners, developers, and copywriters

• Define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, experience, and visuals

• Effectively communicate your designs to all team members and key stakeholders

• Help manage and grow our client’s design system with design standards, guidelines, and best practices

• Assist with user research and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes

• Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented as intended


Skills, Expertise, and Desires

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Visual Arts, or Design or equivalent experience

• 5–7 years as a UI and visual designer for both web and native mobile apps

• Excellent typography, layout, visual design and animation skills with a strong portfolio

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma with design systems, components, and prototyping experience

• Strong and innovative examples of motion and animation in UI and interaction design

• Expert-level understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Member and user-obsessed and solutions-driven
