Business Systems Analyst – Healthcare Platform Integration

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for digital health platform initiatives involving third-party solutions
  • Translate business needs into structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Support the creation and maintenance of product backlogs to align with business priorities and user needs
  • Map and document end-to-end business processes across areas such as sales, implementation, and member services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate requirements and ensure alignment with operational workflows
  • Partner with technical teams to support integrations involving single sign-on and data exchange across multiple systems
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and recommending more efficient workflows
  • Participate in Agile practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and status tracking
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements
  • Support implementation efforts for external platform integrations, including coordination of requirements and data considerations

Required experience and skills

  • Experience in business analysis, product support, or a related role within technology or healthcare environments
  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and documentation of business workflows
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to write clear and actionable user stories aligned with business objectives
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels, including business and technical teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements or integrations
  • Familiarity with third-party platform implementations and vendor-supported solutions
  • Understanding of data exchange concepts and system integration principles
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred experience

  • Experience in healthcare payer environments
  • Familiarity with vendor-based point solutions and platform integrations
  • Exposure to metrics related to user experience and system utilization in healthcare or digital platforms
