As the Manager of DevOps, you will be responsible for leading and managing our DevOps team, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure, and driving the adoption of best practices for software development, deployment, and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, IT, and product management, to ensure the seamless integration of development and operations, resulting in efficient and reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of DevOps initiatives.
  • Define and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and tools to drive automation, scalability, and reliability in software development, deployment, and operations.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to streamline and optimize the software delivery lifecycle, from code commit to production deployment.
  • Design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, leveraging cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance and availability issues.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), configuration management, and version control.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure the implementation of robust security measures and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 5s+ years of experience in DevOps, with a solid background in software development and IT operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate infrastructure and operations tasks.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
