Job description
This role leads product delivery for digital platforms focused on clinical and client-facing experiences within a healthcare or pharmacy domain. The position is responsible for driving product execution, managing backlog priorities, and ensuring alignment between business goals, user needs, and technical delivery. The role partners closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
The position requires strong collaboration, product ownership, and the ability to translate complex clinical and business requirements into actionable product features. Experience working with pharmacy benefits or clinical workflows is highly valuable.
Responsibilities
- Define, manage, and prioritize the team backlog to ensure alignment with product strategy, roadmap, and evolving user needs
- Lead backlog refinement sessions, provide feedback on user stories, and confirm readiness through clear acceptance criteria
- Support testing, deployment, release, and post-release validation activities
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across larger initiatives and product goals
- Use performance metrics and product data to identify issues, generate insights, and improve product outcomes
- Track and communicate progress against objectives and key results, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
- Partner with design, engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver cohesive product experiences
- Present product updates and demonstrations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Act as the primary point of contact for feature delivery and coordinate with domain stakeholders to ensure consistency across initiatives
- Translate product vision and strategy into clear deliverables for the team, refining as needed based on feedback and performance data
- Integrate customer and clinical perspectives into product decisions and feature development
- Support initiatives related to flexible drug coverage models and automation of claims processing aligned with business requirements
Required experience and skills
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product management, digital delivery, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills across cross-functional environments
- Experience with agile practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
- Ability to manage product execution from planning through delivery and post-launch support
- Experience defining product strategy and aligning execution to business objectives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of healthcare, clinical systems, or pharmacy-related workflows; experience in pharmacy benefits management is preferred
- Experience working within multidisciplinary product teams
