Job Description
A leading organization is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support application quality, automation, and ongoing platform development within a healthcare technology environment. This position combines software engineering, quality assurance automation, production support, and application validation responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings strong Python development experience, enjoys hands-on testing and automation work, and is comfortable supporting both front-end and back-end applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites for web-based applications.
- Validate front-end and back-end functionality across platform components and services.
- Execute and support release testing, regression testing, and production readiness activities.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and quality assurance stakeholders to improve application quality.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify defects, and assist with resolution efforts.
- Participate in production support activities and operational monitoring as part of team support processes.
- Support the development and maintenance of application features and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to testing strategies that ensure reliability, performance, and stability across software releases.
- Help maintain quality standards for applications that incorporate AI-enabled capabilities and workflows.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience working with APIs and event-driven application architectures.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to balance testing, automation, production support, and development responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
- Experience validating both front-end and back-end application functionality.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Front-end or UI development experience.
- Experience with machine learning, large language models, generative AI, or AI-powered applications.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems and distributed application architectures.
- Experience supporting healthcare technology applications.
