Job description
A fast-growing technology team is seeking a full stack software engineer to build and enhance a data-driven application that delivers advanced insights through a modern user interface. This role combines front-end and back-end development with data integration and collaboration across engineering and data teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications
- Build and enhance user interfaces using React
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python and REST architecture
- Integrate data outputs and analytical insights into application workflows
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure smooth data flow and system functionality
- Support data processing, validation, and querying using SQL
- Contribute to the development and improvement of backend systems and data pipelines
- Build systems with scalability in mind as data volume and complexity increase
- Communicate progress, provide technical input, and collaborate on delivering high-quality solutions
Required experience and skills
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong full stack development experience across both front-end and back-end components
- Proficiency in React for building user-facing applications
- Strong Python development skills for backend services and APIs
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Solid SQL skills for data querying and validation
- Experience developing scalable, user-facing applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Preferred experience includes familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure
- Exposure to data engineering concepts and workflows
- Experience with or willingness to learn distributed data processing tools such as PySpark
