JOB SUMMARY: Project Analyst

We are seeking a Project Analyst in the Healthcare Provider space to support the development of provider-focused projects, including Provider Directory, Provider Data Management, and Value-Based Care projects. This role is vital in aggregating provider data effectively to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. The ideal candidate will develop comprehensive business requirements, work closely with multiple stakeholders to identify provider-specific needs, collaborate with IT teams, and contribute to the creation of data flows and business requirements documentation. This position requires a blend of healthcare payer industry knowledge, experience in provider-focused projects, and a commitment to process improvement and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Support the development of provider-focused projects by better aggregating provider data for enhanced healthcare delivery.
  • Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for provider directory, provider data management, and value-based care projects.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to identify provider-focused requirements, including user experience, quality, and provider needs for value-based care tools as a Project Analyst.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to review requirements, answer questions, and resolve any open issues.
  • Create and update data flows and business requirements matrix documentation as needed per project.
  • Contribute to the creation and definition of best practices for the enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience, with a strong focus on healthcare provider projects.
  • 2-3 years of Healthcare Payer industry experience.
  • Proven experience working on provider-focused projects and value-based care initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement, including creating templates and best practices.
  • Solid experience documenting business requirements for health plan provider-focused projects.
  • Experience implementing a long-term provider directory solution to be a Project Analyst.
  • Experience with value-based care data aggregation tools, including tool selection through full implementation.
