We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital content strategies, ensuring best-in-class experiences across all digital touchpoints, including public websites, member portals, and various channels. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of the Director of Content Strategy and in collaboration with a cross-functional team, including product marketing, integrated channel leads, consumer experience teams, experience designers, and developers. This role is critical for authoring strategic content frameworks and deliverables that effectively communicate priority content to our member audiences at crucial interaction points.


  • Author and manage strategic content deliverables such as content audits, matrices, content models, journey maps, sitemaps, and migration maps in collaboration with researchers and experience designers.
  • Oversee content development and execution throughout its full lifecycle, including creation, curation, optimization, and measurement, in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Guide user testing processes with insights and research teams by defining content learning goals and objectives.
  • Conduct competitive and comparative research to inform content strategy and identify new strategic content opportunities.
  • Manage content optimizations, including SEO, curated search, tagging strategies, metadata, and calls-to-action, in collaboration with the digital team.
  • Champion content strategy best practices and governance processes throughout the organization.


  • Proven experience driving content strategy in collaboration with creative teams, digital designers, and business leaders.
  • Proficiency in authoring key content deliverables, including strategic POVs, audits, content matrices, models, journey maps, and taxonomies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and content measurement platforms; Adobe Omniture experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to turn data into actionable insights for evolving and refining content strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present strategic concepts to executive leadership effectively.
  • A proactive leadership approach to managing complex content initiatives.
