JOB SUMMARY: Product Manager

We are seeking a visionary Product Manager to lead the development and strategic direction of our innovative products. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical acumen; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to understand market needs, and managing the product through its lifecycle to ensure it meets business goals and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring continuous refinement and alignment with the product vision.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to clarify product requirements and participate in backlog refinement sessions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and capture metrics to assess product performance as a Product Manager.
  • Communicate progress, plans, and goals to stakeholders, including presentations on agendas, status updates, and roadmaps.
  • Create and maintain product documentation within Confluence and manage Epics and Capabilities cards in JIRA.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Validate that the product is free of defects post-development and testing phases.
  • Lead product development from concept through launch, ensuring successful market introduction.

QUALIFICATIONS: Product Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree in engineering or an MBA is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, including project management.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Track record of product innovation and development.
  • Strong project management skills and customer focus.
  • Understanding of the marketplace and technical know-how.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in data analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • SAFe POPM certification is a must.
  • Experience using CAD platforms and SQL is preferred.
