SENIOR MANAGER, DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS

JOB SUMMARY:

This pivotal role entails portfolio management, resource planning, and project delivery, focusing on managing the resource and capacity management routines and capabilities for portfolio planning and optimization. The Senior Manager, Digital Technology Operations will ensure optimal resource plans and allocations, collaborating with delivery teams, functional leads, and business partners to deliver Digital capabilities in alignment with our Digital roadmap vision and priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and implement resource and capacity management processes and tools for increased efficiency in portfolio planning and execution.
  • Conduct long-term resource needs analysis and periodic resource assessments to identify risks and propose resolutions.
  • Assist in technical staff and capacity planning, budgeting and financials, and engineering delivery metrics and measurement to position engineering teams for success.
  • Facilitate working groups for engineering capacity needs and manage engineering budget in close collaboration with Finance partners.
  • Define, align, and measure key performance metrics in support of OKRs with various stakeholders.
  • Lead by example to foster high team performance, maintaining excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management, or a related field, preferably in R&D drug development or a similar complex portfolio environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource management capabilities, designing, deploying, and supporting PPM, reporting, or business operations solutions.
  • Proficient with enterprise Project Management and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Clarity and Qlik Sense.
  • Experience in Agile product development and working within digital or IT/technical teams.
  • Extensive experience in process administration, business operations, or project management in a large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills and the capacity to build and maintain credible relationships at varying organization levels.
