Responsibilities
- Define and drive end-to-end design strategy for complex, large-scale digital platforms
- Establish a clear and cohesive design vision that aligns user experience, workflows, and system interactions
- Use rapid prototyping and concept development to make ideas tangible and guide product direction
- Partner directly with product and engineering teams to co-create solutions rather than follow a handoff model
- Apply systems thinking to connect user journeys, data flows, and interaction patterns across a platform
- Lead design execution through hands-on work, including research, interaction design, and prototyping
- Contribute to and shape a scalable design system with reusable components and structured design patterns
- Demonstrate design decisions through working concepts and prototypes instead of documentation alone
- Influence product and technical decisions by grounding them in user insights and design quality
- Mentor designers and elevate team standards through feedback, critique, and example
- Communicate design strategy and decisions to senior stakeholders through clear visual storytelling
Required experience and skills
- 10 to 12 years of experience in product design, including senior or lead individual contributor roles
- Proven experience designing complex, enterprise-scale platforms with multiple workflows and integrations
- Strong expertise in user-centered design, including research, journey mapping, and interaction design
- Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to create cohesive user experiences across platforms
- Experience working in highly collaborative environments where design, product, and engineering co-create solutions
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro
- Experience contributing to or building design systems that support consistency and scalability
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and their application in design workflows and prototyping
- Ability to quickly learn new domains and design effectively in unfamiliar or complex problem spaces
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating hands-on design work, design thinking process, and measurable product impact
