Data Scientist (GenAI and Machine Learning)

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply machine learning models, including techniques such as decision trees and forecasting, to solve business problems
• Use generative artificial intelligence methods to extract insights from complex document sets, including structured and unstructured text
• Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model development using Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, communicate findings, and support decision-making
• Translate domain-specific language and requirements into actionable data science solutions
• Continuously refine models and analytical approaches to improve accuracy and performance

Required experience and skills

• Strong background in data science, with hands-on experience in machine learning model development
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data
• Experience with generative artificial intelligence, including prompt-based techniques
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques
• Experience with machine learning approaches such as tree-based models and forecasting methods
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
