Responsibilities
- Develop and apply machine learning models, including techniques such as decision trees and forecasting, to solve business problems
- Use generative artificial intelligence methods to extract insights from complex document sets, including structured and unstructured text
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model development using Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, communicate findings, and support decision-making
- Translate domain-specific language and requirements into actionable data science solutions
- Continuously refine models and analytical approaches to improve accuracy and performance
Required experience and skills
- Strong background in data science, with hands-on experience in machine learning model development
- Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data
- Experience with generative artificial intelligence, including prompt-based techniques
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques
- Experience with machine learning approaches such as tree-based models and forecasting methods
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
