JOB SUMMARY: Healthcare Business Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team and drive the development of provider-focused projects, including Provider Directory, Provider Data Management, and Value Based Care initiatives. This role is crucial for improving the aggregation of provider data to enhance the overall healthcare delivery and patient care experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and internal IT teams to develop requirements, resolve issues, and create efficient data flows, contributing significantly to our strategic goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Healthcare Business Analyst

  • Support the development of projects focused on provider data management and value-based care.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for project initiatives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify specific requirements related to user experience, quality, and provider needs for value-based care tools.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to review requirements, provide clarifications, and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Create and maintain data flows and business requirements matrix documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation and definition of best practices for the enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO).

QUALIFICATIONS: Healthcare Business Analyst

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on healthcare provider projects.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Healthcare Payer industry, working on provider-focused projects and value-based care initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement, including the creation of templates and best practices.
  • Solid experience in documenting business requirements for health plan provider-focused projects.
  • Experience in implementing a long-term provider directory solution.
  • Experience with value-based care data aggregation tools, from tool selection to full implementation.
