JOB SUMMARY: IT Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of our IT infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 hardware and system availability. This role involves driving the modernization and standardization of our IT landscape, as well as implementing robust cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate will manage an ITSM-based support model to meet our automation environment demands and play a key role in operational excellence and service process optimization across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead the IT infrastructure team and act as the primary point of contact for the head of IT regarding infrastructure matters.
  • Manage IT infrastructure changes in operating facilities and drive operational excellence and service process standardization.
  • Ensure IT service delivery excellence for end-user computing, network, and compute services.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to standardize local hardware platforms and drive cybersecurity compliance.
  • Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget and mitigate associated risks.
  • Establish robust business continuity processes and disaster recovery plans.
  • Manage local and regional vendor relationships to achieve agreed SLAs.
  • Build and maintain IT service management and IT infrastructure expertise within the local IT team.
  • Implement and maintain 24×7 network and automation monitoring services.
  • Optimize the Data Center and server management processes to support a high-availability environment as an IT Infrastructure Manager.
  • Lead troubleshooting for major incidents and develop root cause analysis to prevent future issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University or higher vocational degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in Infrastructure management, with a focus on complex network platforms and automation components.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, with a strong background in process documentation.
  • Operational Technology hardware and integration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco hardware and support; CCNA certification required, CCIE preferred to be an IT Infrastructure Manager.
  • Understanding of PLCs, networking protocols (TCP/IP, Profibus, ProfiNET, ASI, CAN-Bus), and wireless connectivity.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts; ITIL V4 certification recommended.
  • Proficiency in Continuous Improvement/LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exceptional collaboration, leadership, and management skills.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and familiarity with Agile principles.
