JOB SUMMARY: Applications & Integration Manager

We are seeking an Applications and Integrations Manager responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of our applications landscape and its integrations with Operational Technology (OT). This role involves leading application owners, managing the IT budget, vendor management, and actively collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance process efficiency through new IT capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Oversee management and implementation of applications within the landscape as an Applications & Integration Manager.
  • Research and analyze improvement opportunities, develop business requirement documents, and facilitate efficiency enhancements.
  • Support software functional specifications development for optimization/continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage system integration, software testing, and commissioning for the automation application landscape.
  • Ensure proper application lifecycle and version management, acting as hyper-care support post-software release.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for operational incidents at the application level.
  • Develop creative IT solutions in collaboration with the operational and functional teams to improve business operations.
  • Define and ensure vendor SLAs through proper KPIs for each application or solution.
  • Collaborate with regional and delivery management teams to modernize, streamline, and standardize the tech portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applications & Integration Manager

  • University or higher vocational degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, with a preference for automation component experience.
  • At least three (3) years of project handling/coordination experience and process documentation.
  • Experience in IT support organizations, Level 2 or Level 3 preferred.
  • ITIL V4 Certification recommended.
  • Knowledge of application architecture design and high availability application landscapes.
  • Proficiency in software application lifecycle, IT Service Management, and Continuous Improvement/LEAN/Six Sigma.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Agile principles, methods, and applying WOW (Lean) standards and tooling.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The role may require travel across the US and occasionally overseas.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, particularly during the testing phase.
  • Must be comfortable working in a general office setting and performing some coordination activities outdoors.
