JOB SUMMARY: Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead a variety of innovative and complex projects within our division. These projects range from construction and acquisitions to process changes and transformations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating, planning, and executing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure as a Project Manager.
  • Coordinate and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Analyze and communicate project data to inform and facilitate decision-making.
  • Apply effective change management strategies to guarantee the successful implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Participate in budget creation, management, and financial evaluations to support the financial success of projects.
  • Monitor project progress, manage communications, and facilitate workflow simplification and best practice development.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

QUALIFICATIONS: Project Manager

  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 suite, with experience in document management/sharing and SharePoint management as a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare (ambulatory preferred), medical office, or clinical settings is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification and/or Green Belt certification are desirable.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Epic (EMR), Smartsheet, Workday, and eBuilder is advantageous.
  • Comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Infrequent travel to locations within the division (throughout VA and Northeast NC) may be required.
