A sandbox was set up in a secure PHI (Protected Health Information) cloud, leveraging Google Cloud’s robust and compliant infrastructure. This move was highly appreciated by the internal IT teams for its adherence to stringent security protocols. 

Technology Stack 

The stack included a front-end layer for user interaction, a middleware for business logic, and a back-end database for storing member-specific details. The Generative AI model was integrated into the middleware. 

MVP Approach and Key Metrics

MVP Strategy 

We initiated the PoC with an MVP, focusing on a single commercial health plan that had approx. 10,000 members, to validate the applicability and performance of Generative AI in providing personalized, plain-language explanations of complex healthcare plans.
