A leading healthcare organization is seeking a senior business project manager to lead the end‑to‑end business execution of a high‑visibility, enterprise initiative focused on launching new consumer-facing specialty benefits products. This role sits on the business side of delivery and partners closely with a technology project manager to ensure business strategy, go‑to‑market planning, and execution are fully aligned.

The business project manager owns the integrated business program plan and is accountable for coordinating cross‑functional teams, driving readiness, and ensuring successful market launch within a fixed delivery timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end‑to‑end business program plan, integrating multiple workstreams into a single, cohesive execution roadmap
  • Translate business strategy into actionable plans that connect strategy, go‑to‑market readiness, and execution
  • Partner closely with a technology project manager to align business priorities with technical delivery timelines and dependencies
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional workstreams across product, sales, marketing, operations, enrollment, underwriting, finance, and technology
  • Drive go‑to‑market planning and execution, including marketing, communications, training, rollout sequencing, and change management
  • Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans as well as the overarching program plan, ensuring dependencies and milestones remain aligned
  • Define and manage roles, responsibilities, and accountability across a matrixed team environment
  • Design and execute training strategies, ensuring impacted teams are prepared for launch and adoption

  • Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives with multiple parallel workstreams
  • Demonstrated ownership of go‑to‑market planning and execution for external-facing products or services
  • Strong project planning, dependency mapping, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including comfort engaging with senior and executive leadership
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and translate between business and technology teams
  • Experience working with project tracking and reporting tools such as Jira
  • Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles and agile concepts, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technology partners
