Responsibilities
- Enhance existing data science solutions that support utilization management workflows and decision processes
- Develop and refine predictive models to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed of approval pipelines
- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical approaches and data science solutions
- Analyze healthcare data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process optimization
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement model improvements and integrate outputs into existing systems
- Evaluate model performance and continuously iterate to improve outcomes and reliability
- Work with cloud-based data environments to manage and process large-scale datasets
- Contribute to improving end to end workflows through data driven insights and modeling techniques
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for data science and model development
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Experience building and deploying predictive models in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and related services
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions
- Experience working with healthcare data and understanding healthcare workflows
- Solid understanding of data science methodologies, model evaluation, and performance optimization
