Job description
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support conversational AI and analytics initiatives focused on improving customer outreach and care management. The position combines data science, data engineering, analytics, and AI-enabled solution development.
The Senior Data Scientist will work across engineering, product, business, and external partner teams to develop data pipelines and APIs, monitor data integrations, analyze outreach performance, and create scalable reporting and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support data pipelines, APIs, and integration workflows for conversational AI solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data movement across multiple systems and platforms, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for business and operational stakeholders.
- Analyze outreach performance, including engagement, conversion, and operational metrics, to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to maintain accurate data and reporting.
- Develop scalable analytics and reporting frameworks that support pilots, production solutions, and expanded use cases.
- Use AI-assisted development tools, including Claude, to improve development workflows while maintaining code quality.
- Apply machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering techniques to business and product challenges.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable insights.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Required experience and skills
- 3+ years of data science experience.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred.
- Experience developing data pipelines and APIs.
- Experience creating dashboards, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, data engineering, and data visualization.
- Ability to translate business questions into data-driven insights.
- Experience with BigQuery is preferred.
- Experience using Claude or other AI-assisted coding workflows is preferred.
- Healthcare, care management, or clinical analytics experience is preferred.
- Experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets is preferred.
- Natural language processing (NLP) experience is a plus.
