JOB SUMMARY: Digital Production Designer

We are on the lookout for a Digital Production Designer to become a pivotal part of our User Experience & Design team. This role is crucial for the formatting and production of various digital projects aimed at enhancing our client’s desktop and mobile websites. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with UX Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Product Owners, and Developers. Your role will involve diving deep into the details of design to bring creative concepts to life, necessitating a blend of strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prepare final handoff files and assets for desktop and mobile web according to project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation as a Digital Production Designer.
  • Expand upon feature designs by creating additional screens, edge cases, and error scenarios.
  • Support the development team by identifying and troubleshooting UX or design-related issues.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure digital products meet quality standards.
  • Update and contribute to the evolving design system, documenting changes and additions.
  • Produce prototypes, user flows, and presentations to communicate design experiences effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in UX/production design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Figma.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, update, and create design documentation.
  • A collaborative spirit, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with significant, large-scale global digital platforms, especially within commerce or travel sectors.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to be a Digital Production Designer.
