Job Description
A leading organization is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance modern cloud-native applications used to support critical business operations. This position requires a strong balance of front-end and back-end development expertise, with an initial emphasis on both React-based user experiences and Python-powered backend services.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer with experience developing scalable applications, working with cloud technologies, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with technical teams on innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence capabilities and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support full-stack applications using React, Python, and SQL.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and system integrations.
- Create responsive, user-friendly front-end experiences using modern React development practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and technical leadership to deliver business-focused solutions.
- Develop scalable cloud-based applications within Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Build and optimize database interactions, data models, and SQL queries.
- Contribute to software quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity and solution quality.
- Support ongoing enhancements, performance improvements, and platform scalability initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong experience developing front-end applications using React.
- Strong backend development experience using Python.
- Advanced SQL and relational database expertise.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Understanding of modern software architecture and application development best practices.
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of software testing, code review processes, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience working across both front-end and backend components of enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience working with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or Generative AI-related initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Experience contributing to cloud-native application modernization efforts.
- Exposure to distributed systems, microservices, and scalable application architectures.
- Experience supporting data-driven applications and backend services utilizing SQL-based data platforms.
