Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

A leading organization is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and support enterprise applications that enable data-driven business operations. This position requires expertise across front-end and back-end development, database technologies, and cloud-based solutions. The engineer will collaborate with technical and business teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and provide technical leadership through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications and services.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Create and enhance scalable back-end systems and APIs.
• Ensure application reliability, performance, and maintainability through sound engineering practices.

Data and Database Development

• Design and develop solutions that leverage SQL databases.
• Build and support ETL and data processing workflows.
• Optimize database interactions and data access patterns.
• Contribute to the development of scalable data integration processes.

Cloud and Platform Engineering

• Support applications operating within cloud environments.
• Contribute to platform enhancements and infrastructure-related initiatives.
• Partner with technical teams to implement scalable and sustainable solutions.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning activities.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the development team.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled application capabilities where appropriate.

Required Experience and Skills

Software Engineering

• Strong experience developing full-stack applications.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and work independently.
• Experience participating in software design, development, testing, and deployment activities.

Programming Languages

• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

Front-End Development

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and/or Angular.
• Ability to develop and maintain responsive web-based user experiences.

Database and Data Processing

• Strong SQL and database development experience.
• Experience designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases.
• Experience with ETL processes and data processing workflows.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working across multiple teams and functional areas.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, or support junior engineers.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
• Exposure to Python development.
• Familiarity with AI and large language model (LLM) applications.
• Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern application architectures.
