A leading organization in the financial services sector is seeking a Microsoft Teams Voice and Collaboration Engineer to support and evolve its modern workplace and unified communications environment. This role focuses on Microsoft Teams Calling, Microsoft 365, and Azure-based collaboration services within a regulated enterprise setting.
The position combines hands-on engineering responsibilities with a consultative delivery approach. The engineer will design, implement, and optimize collaboration and voice solutions that support advisor-facing technology services and enterprise communication needs.
Responsibilities
Microsoft Teams and voice engineering
- Design, deploy, and support Microsoft Teams Calling solutions, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and VoIP and PSTN integrations
- Manage Teams voice architecture, call flows, auto attendants, and call queues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice, conferencing, and collaboration services
Microsoft 365 collaboration platform
- Administer and enhance Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
- Configure collaboration policies that support security, compliance, and governance requirements
- Support identity, access, and security configurations using Entra ID
Azure and infrastructure integration
- Support integration of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services within Azure environments
- Work with cloud architecture patterns related to identity, networking, governance, and scalability
- Assist with hybrid cloud deployments and integration with legacy systems
Managed services and advisory support
- Contribute to a managed technology services model delivering end-to-end collaboration and communication solutions

- Working knowledge of Azure and Entra ID
- Experience administering Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, SIP, and quality of service

- Background supporting technology platforms in regulated environments
