JOB SUMMARY: Program Manager

We are in search of a highly organized and proactive Program Manager to oversee the processes, resource management, schedules, documentation, quality assurance, and coordination of a wide range of analytic tasks. This role demands a candidate with a background in statistical programming and experience managing projects within a healthcare analytic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing a database of all active projects, including goals, timelines, and key resources as a Program Manager.
  • Track project lifecycle processes and design quality control and documentation best practices.
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance to minimize errors, rework, and inaccurate conclusions.
  • Develop and maintain libraries for learnings and QA-approved code for efficient project execution.
  • Clarify analytic questions and goals with business partners to enhance the utility of analyses.
  • Lead teams to ensure progress, identifying and addressing roadblocks, and managing deadlines effectively.
  • Conduct post-mortems to capture learnings and improve future projects.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic initiatives and operational management.

QUALIFICATIONS: Program Manager

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Management, Public Policy, Computer Science, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare business or research administration/management.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical programming or quantitative analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization and presenting analytic results clearly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High degree of initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its external environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
