JOB SUMMARY: Senior Manager – Strategic Research

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Research to lead our efforts in qualitative and quantitative consumer research within the Brand, Marketing, and Medicare domains. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Research within CX Measurement and Insights, this role is pivotal in developing differentiated strategies and experiences that drive the success of our Consumer Experience & Digital and Omni strategy. The ideal candidate will employ strong research and human-centered design tactics to develop actionable insights, understand consumer segments deeply, and maintain research panels. You will work closely with brand, marketing, and Medicare business partners, playing a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects to inform brand, marketing, and Medicare strategies as a Senior Manager – Strategic Research.
  • Generate actionable insights from research to support go-to-market strategies and experience design improvements.
  • Build, maintain, and leverage consumer panels to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Summarize data, insights, and industry intelligence in clear, actionable reports for business stakeholders.
  • Scope and execute consumer research projects that align with key business and experience design goals, determining the best approach, methodology, and audience.
  • Serve as the primary contact for brand, marketing, and Medicare business partners regarding consumer research and insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business strategy development and consulting, with a focus on consumer and Medicare environments to be a Senior Manager – Strategic Research.
  • Deep experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Proven ability to plan, design, and manage enterprise research projects.
  • Strong executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and innately curious.

Preferred:

  • Medicare research experience.
  • Brand and marketing research and strategy experience.
  • Segmentation expertise.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
