Job Description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and transformation initiatives for healthcare financial platforms. This position focuses on modernizing complex systems that support financial operations, claims processing, pharmacy-related services, rebate management, and other regulated healthcare business functions.

The Senior Product Manager will define product vision, drive strategic planning, align stakeholders, and oversee initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and business value. Success in this role requires strong product leadership, deep healthcare industry knowledge, experience navigating regulated environments, and the ability to influence decisions across large organizations.

Responsibilities

Product strategy and roadmap

• Define and maintain product vision, strategy, and roadmap for healthcare financial platforms.
• Align product priorities with business goals and customer outcomes.
• Establish success metrics and value measurement frameworks to evaluate product performance.
• Connect product investments to measurable business outcomes and operational improvements.

Stakeholder leadership

• Collaborate with business, operations, engineering, architecture, and user experience teams.
• Build alignment across multiple stakeholder groups and organizational functions.
• Serve as the primary connection between business objectives and technology solutions.
• Influence decisions and drive consensus among senior stakeholders.

Product management and planning

• Lead product discovery activities, prioritization processes, and roadmap development.
• Translate business needs into product strategies, initiatives, and outcomes.
• Use data, customer insights, and business objectives to guide decision-making.
• Balance short-term delivery priorities with long-term product objectives.

Platform modernization

• Lead initiatives focused on modernizing legacy healthcare and financial systems.
• Support the transition of manual processes to cloud-based platforms and digital workflows.
• Promote scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to enterprise transformation efforts involving complex business processes and technology ecosystems.

Delivery collaboration

• Partner closely with engineering and delivery teams to support successful product execution.
• Prioritize product backlogs based on business value, customer impact, and strategic objectives.
• Support agile product development practices while maintaining a focus on long-term vision.
• Monitor progress and adapt priorities based on business needs and market demands.

Required experience and skills

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Experience within the healthcare industry.
• Experience leading complex enterprise product initiatives.
• Strong product strategy, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to align product investments with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience working within regulated healthcare or financial environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and executive leaders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience translating business requirements into product solutions.

Preferred experience and skills

• Experience with pharmacy benefit management, pharmacy operations, healthcare claims, rebate management, healthcare finance platforms, or related healthcare systems.
