JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Lead to oversee the architecture and integration of our flagship project with new and existing capabilities. This leadership role involves managing a team of developers, guiding them through the project lifecycle, and ensuring that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web application development, with specific expertise in mobile application integration, and will be adept at leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Technical Architecture: Architect and integrate Flamingo with new and existing capabilities, ensuring high-level architecture and design clarity across all projects.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project success.
- Agile Methodology: Conduct scrum stand-ups to keep the team aligned, focused on project goals, and adherent to agile methodologies, particularly scrum.
- Code Quality Assurance: Perform thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards in web and mobile application development.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively and drive projects to completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years of work experience in modern web application development, including 3+ years in a hands-on technical lead role.
- Leadership and Project Management: Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing end-to-end project life cycles, from conception to completion.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in architecture and design, particularly with mobile application integration, and extensive practical experience with web technologies including back end development with NodeJS, Typescript, Javascript.
- Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly scrum, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Cloud and Web Technologies: Hands-on practical experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Cognito, IAM, Cloud Watch, and a deep understanding of data modeling and storage using SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Software Development: Experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) and back end solutions with NodeJS.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
