SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER-INTEGRATION SERVICES

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with a focus on Integration Services to lead our technology adoption initiatives across product teams. This role involves guiding a team of software engineers and developers in building and maximizing capabilities and skills within the chapter. The ideal candidate will manage team composition, prioritize resources, and contribute directly to technology product delivery, ensuring alignment with our strategic direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead the adoption of relevant technology trends and tools to improve team skillsets and technology product delivery.
  • Act as a hands-on practice leader, contributing directly to project successes and acquiring domain knowledge.
  • Engage with solution architects and product owners as a technical SME, ensuring strategic alignment within their area.
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and develop a highly motivated technical workforce, optimizing team composition and performance.
  • Oversee interviewing, recruiting, hiring, assessing, and retaining technical personnel.
  • Ensure the team’s alignment with software testing methodologies and engineering fundamentals.
  • Foster a learning environment, continuously improving skills across the team and department.
  • Evaluate technologies, manage proof of concepts, and coordinate technology vendor relationships.
  • Work on cross-functional initiatives, covering several organizations, business units, or countries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required; Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer using technologies such as C#, .NET, REST API design and development, OOPs, Angular/React.
  • 2+ years of experience with API Management Tools and event streaming technologies like Kafka.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing, coaching, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
  • Proven track record in interviewing, recruiting, hiring, assessing, and retaining technical personnel.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and modern software engineering fundamentals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Agile methodology experience, with a preference for candidates experienced in fast-paced Agile environments.
