JOB SUMMARY: IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the operational availability of our Technology Infrastructure, Systems, and Service vendors during work shifts. This hands-on role is critical for ensuring that our local IT delivery team and IT service vendors meet or exceed performance expectations. The IT Shift Manager will be instrumental in implementing IT procedures for vendors and teams, focusing on local IT operations while collaborating with regional and global IT teams to ensure consistent execution of shared services and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Manage and provide leadership to the IT team and service vendors, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of technology infrastructure, solutions, and day-to-day operational management of end-user services.
  • Oversee IT system environments’ availability, including IT and OT releases, planning, approvals, and coordination with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate IT management activities with offshore, regional, and global teams, ensuring effective operational execution.
  • Design and implement IT policies, procedures, and processes with approval from IT leadership.
  • Ensure 7×24 support for production environments, including administration, incident resolution, and management of end-user expectations.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and software licenses, ensuring compliance and efficiency as a IT Manager.
  • Work closely with the IT Director to define management strategies for optimal service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Engineering degree with a preference for additional certification in Project Management, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in technology operations management and people management.
  • Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex IT projects to be a IT Manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience managing and allocating work across local, functional, and geographical teams.
