JOB SUMMARY: Salesforce Business Analyst

We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT department. This role involves working closely with internal customers to understand their needs, providing functional and technical expertise on the Salesforce platform, and delivering solutions that drive measurable business value. As a key player in our team, you will leverage your application domain knowledge to identify inefficiencies, solve complex problems, and help envision strategic solutions that align with our business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • As a Salesforce Business Analyst you will facilitate requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and conflicting business practices, proposing alternative solutions to complex cross-functional problems.
  • Act as a senior member of a project team, ensuring timely delivery of user improvements and enhancements by effectively employing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Scope and prioritize enhancement requests with multiple stakeholders, managing and maintaining the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain strong business customer relationships, serving as the “voice of the customer” to the IT project team.
  • Ensure business and operational readiness for the deployment of system enhancements, new products, and process changes; support end-user training.

QUALIFICATIONS: for a Salesforce Business Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, and support of IT systems.
  • At least three years of experience in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions strongly preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and other IT project management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and providing technical direction amidst uncertainty.
  • Strong understanding of IT and business concepts, with the ability to evaluate the impact of business changes on systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks within tight timeframes and prioritizing duties in a fast-paced environment.
