Responsibilities
- Define and lead the product design vision for an ETF-focused platform, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives
- Drive end-to-end design strategy across complex workflows, systems, and user journeys
- Balance strategic direction with hands-on involvement in design execution, including interaction design and workflow optimization
- Partner closely with product and engineering leaders to co-create scalable and technically feasible solutions
- Establish and evolve design practices, ensuring consistency, usability, and clarity across product experiences
- Lead and mentor design team members, fostering growth, collaboration, and high-quality output
- Apply systems thinking to connect multiple features, workflows, and products into a cohesive user experience
- Advocate for user-centered design by translating insights into actionable product decisions
- Influence prioritization and roadmap discussions by connecting design strategy to measurable outcomes
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align on vision, execution, and delivery
Required experience and skills
- Extensive experience in product design, including leadership roles within complex, enterprise-level environments
- Strong foundation in product design fundamentals, including interaction design, user experience design, and workflow optimization
- Proven ability to lead and mentor design teams while remaining hands-on in execution
- Experience designing and improving workflow-driven systems and tools
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with product management and engineering teams
- Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to align multiple touchpoints into a unified experience
- Experience influencing product direction and business decisions through design insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments, balancing strategic leadership with execution responsibilities
