Senior Vice President, Product Design (Experience Strategy Lead)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and execution of experience strategy for a key customer segment across enterprise platforms
  • Translate user insights into clear strategic direction, aligning experience design with business goals and measurable outcomes
  • Advocate for user needs at an organizational level, influencing cross-functional decision-making across product, business, and technology teams
  • Establish a cohesive experience vision that connects multiple products, platforms, and workflows into a unified ecosystem
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to embed user-centered thinking into business strategy and product development
  • Drive alignment across teams by articulating how experience strategy contributes to customer value and organizational success
  • Evaluate and optimize user experiences by connecting design decisions to performance metrics and business impact
  • Lead and influence without direct authority, operating effectively across distributed teams and complex organizational structures
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to design and cross-functional teams to elevate experience strategy practices
  • Communicate strategy and design direction to executive stakeholders through clear, outcome-focused storytelling

Required experience and skills

  • 10 or more years of experience in product design, experience strategy, or a related discipline, with a focus on enterprise or platform environments
  • Proven ability to connect user insights to business strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Strong experience leading experience strategy initiatives across multiple products or domains
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at senior and executive levels
  • Expertise in user-centered design principles, including research, journey mapping, and strategic design thinking
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to align complex product ecosystems into cohesive user experiences
  • Experience working independently in high-impact roles with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Strong leadership presence, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience strategy, including how user insights informed decisions and business outcomes
