Vice President, Product Design

Responsibilities

  • Lead user-centered design initiatives that improve product usability and overall experience
  • Define and map end-to-end user journeys across customer, operations, and service workflows to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
  • Design complex web-based interfaces and interaction models that are intuitive, scalable, and visually consistent
  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications using tools such as Figma and Miro
  • Apply systems thinking to translate complex requirements into clear and structured design solutions
  • Contribute to and evolve a shared design system to ensure consistency across products and reusable components
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align design outcomes with business and technical goals
  • Communicate design concepts clearly through presentations and storytelling to support alignment and informed decision-making
  • Mentor and support junior designers, providing feedback and promoting strong design standards across the team

Required experience and skills

  • 5 or more years of experience in product design or a related field, or equivalent expertise demonstrated through a portfolio
  • Strong foundation in user-centered design, including research-informed decision-making
  • Experience leading journey mapping for complex systems and workflows
  • Advanced skills in interaction design and visual design for web applications
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Miro
  • Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems and component libraries
  • Strong understanding of designing for complex platforms and large-scale systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and balance user needs with technical constraints
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design rationale clearly
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to team development

A portfolio is required and should demonstrate relevant design work, systems thinking, and user-centered design expertise.
