Vice President, Product Designer (Client Activation and Workflow Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of client activation workflows, creating end-to-end user experiences for complex operational processes
  • Define and build new tools and interfaces from the ground up to streamline client onboarding and activation journeys
  • Apply service design methodologies, including blueprinting, to map and improve multi-step workflows across systems and teams
  • Translate complex business processes into intuitive, scalable user interfaces that are easy for engineering teams to implement
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and technical requirements
  • Advocate for user-centered design practices within a team environment that is early in its design maturity
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose improved solutions that enhance usability and operational efficiency
  • Establish and communicate design standards, patterns, and best practices to support consistency across the product experience
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design vision and execution
  • Represent the value of design to stakeholders by clearly articulating how design decisions improve user experience and business outcomes

Required experience and skills

  • Strong background in product design, user experience design, or service design within complex enterprise or platform environments
  • Proven experience designing workflow-driven tools and systems that support multi-step processes
  • Experience with service design methodologies, including journey mapping and service blueprinting
  • Ability to translate complex operational requirements into intuitive, scalable interface designs
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce and advocate for design practices within teams that are new to design
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect workflows, data, and user interactions across platforms
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently, define direction in ambiguous environments, and deliver impactful design solutions
